Malcolm Wynn, a former police officer and current automobile dealer consultant, said he believes he needed an early start to gain the recognition to win the August 2008 primary election. Retired Michigan State Police trooper Al Navarro said he felt he needed to put his campaign in gear early to stay ahead of the competition.There may be more than Navarro and Wynn seeking the Democratic nomination before the deadline to file rolls around in May 2008. .
Non-core YUKOS assets fail to attract bids
RBC, 19.04.2007, Moscow 17:58:33.An auction for the bankrupt Russian oil company YUKOS's non-core assets included in Lot No. 6 garnered no attention from bidders, the Russian Federal Property Fund's press office reported. The federal fund is acting as the auctioneer of YUKOS assets. Bids were welcomed between March 19 and April 18, 2007. Bell Aliant no longer bidding for Amtelecom
Bell Aliant Regional Communications Income Fund, which is minority owned by BCE, said Wednesday it has allowed its offer to purchase all the outstanding units of Amtelecom to expire. Bell Aliant launched a $13-a-unit, or $95 million, cash bid for Amtelecom in February. Amtelecoms board of trustees saw the Bell Aliant bid as hostile and advised its unitholders to reject it. Bragg Communications launched a $14.25-a-unit cash bid earlier this month, putting the value at about $104 million, which the Amtelecom board supported. The Canadian Press Contract awarded to monitor tar ponds air ALL-TECH Environmental Services Ltd. of Sydney has won a $1-million contract to monitor and analyze air quality during the Sydney tar ponds and coke ovens cleanup.

Kinetic Concepts responds to Medicare Bidding Rule
Kinetic Concepts, Inc.
