Hammond, IN (PRWEB) April 10, 2007 -- Auction sellers need more exposure for their goofy items to sell successfully. Meet No Shame Auctions.com, where auction sellers can promote their Weird eBay Auctions, 24 hours a day! "The site features a link script where sellers can automatically add their auctions for free, day or night, even in their pajamas," says Jose Guzman, creator of the insane site that also features mystery auctions.

Buyers may spot a catchy item, such as a haunted doll for sale. "If the visitor is interested, they will click on a link from my website and be taken to the auction," Jose explains.

Bidders for Honda Jet plant will have to re-bid contract

GREENSBORO - The Piedmont Triad Airport Authority voted yesterday to reject bids that were opened March 15 for site preparation for the Honda Jet plant, which will be built at Piedmont Triad International Airport.

The authority will re-bid the contract because of a mix-up involving minority-bidder requirements.

Eight companies submitted bids for the contract, but four were not considered because they did not sign RS-2 Forms that show minority participation. At the time, the authority thought that it was in compliance with N.C. Department of Transportation requirements but learned after the bidding that the form was not needed.

David Ferrell of Vandeventer Black LLP, an attorneys office in Raleigh, represented Mainline Contracting, a company in Durham that has the lowest bid.

Local producer bids on Toronto's historic theatres

Rising Toronto impresario Aubrey Dan wants to buy what he calls the "beautiful crown jewels" of the Ontario capital's theatrical venues, the 2,200-seat Canon and the 701-seat Panasonic.

Dan confirmed Tuesday that his company, Dancap Productions, "is participating in the bidding process" for the two heritage theatres, both of which are located on Yonge Street in downtown Toronto and both of which were put up for sale by their current owner, Beverly Hills, Calif.-based Live Nation Inc.

"You need theatres to produce and to present, for sure," Dan said. "There's no question about that."

Live Nation, spun off in 2005 as the theatrical division of media giant Clear Channel, announced earlier this year that it was selling 13 theatres across North America, 11 of them in the United States, to concentrate on what it calls its "core business" of live music.

Sympathy about marital split is ploy for dirt

That information could make them feel divided in their loyalties, guilty by association, or ashamed. Acquaintances need no further explanation than, "I appreciate your interest, but I've moved on and no longer want to talk about it." You might add, "These are deeply personal issues." Forget the sympathy factor. People who aren't that close to you are digging for dirt or comparisons to their own life. As for their advice, thank them but say you've already worked things out in the way you think best. Then change the subject.

Q: I'm 18, and have been with my boyfriend for five months. I've always been more independent; but my little free time is dedicated to him. However, he has much more free time, which gives him more time to sulk when I'm not around. He's still in school, takes on no part-time job (although I've suggested it many times) and rarely goes out with other guys.

France finally bids goodbye to de Gaulle

MOSCOW - On Sunday, France will hold its first round of presidential elections. Who will replace Jacques Chirac?

This is the question that polling agencies are now trying to answer. Every day the French media publish the results of numerous polls. All respondents agree that there are three obvious leaders in the presidential race: Segolene Royal, Nicolas Sarkozy and Francois Bayrou.

They are followed in the polls by the ageing veteran of French politics, Jean-Marie Le Pen, who heads the far-right National Front. The remaining eight of the 12 candidates are not so much contenders for the Elysee Palace as political Olympians for whom taking part in the marathon is more important than winning it.

The competition between the four heavyweights could result in some surprises, although the polls predict that Sarkozy will win the first round with Royal as the runner-up.
